Unforgettable Events Come to Life at Ameristar Casino
As many St. Louis organizations have already discovered, the atmosphere and amenities at Ameristar Casino St. Charles offer an unparalleled venue for creating unforgettable events. The $360 million casino complex offers a full array of entertainment including exciting culinary offerings, dynamic musical performances and access to the most luxurious setting for live gaming in the region.

As visitors approach the property, they are immediately aware that this is a destination of grandeur. The porte cochere, inspired by historic wharf, train station and pavilion structures of the 1800s, creates a dramatic entrance featuring expansive glass skylights, steel trusses and Victorian detailing. Inside, guests are greeted by a dramatic streetscape, a derivative of the historic St. Charles River Port District architecture. The building's detailed facades feature porches and balconies; operable framed windows, decorative metal railings, and clapboard sidings. Guests walk down a town square with a dramatic fountain shooting water 40 feet high, along the cobblestone path to where they can enjoy any of seven restaurants and entertainment venues: the Falcon Diner, Amerisports Bar and Grill, the Bottleneck Blues Bar, Pearl's Oyster Bar, 47 Port Street Grill, the King Cat Club and the Landmark Buffet.

With all seven restaurant an entertainment venues available for private events, Ameristar Casino St. Charles has the flexibility to customize a package for any need. Sports-themed parties are perfect in Amerisports Bar and Grill, the largest and most technologically advanced sports bar in the region with its 34-foot video wall, surround sound and industrial décor. The eclectic atmosphere in the Bottleneck Blues Bar makes it a perfect fit for a variety of events - from a tailgate party by day with it's plasma televisions, 15-foot pull down projection screen and phenomenal sound system - to a swanky New Orleans-style fete by night with a Zydeco blues band and Southern-style cuisine. Any event, from a banquet for 300 to a cocktail hour for 50, can become extraordinary at Ameristar.

Experience fine dining at 47 Port Street Grill, where the atmosphere is warm, comfortable and inviting, and the steaks are superb. Or visit the King Kat Club, a martini and cigar bar, to enjoy steakhouse selections. Make every game the big game on the 34-foot video wall at Amerisports Bar and Grill, while selecting from a full menu of appetizers and main course entrees. Resembling a converted turn-of-the-century warehouse, with the appeal of industrial-style elements, this venue features a state-of-the art audio-video system that includes select tables customized with personal screens and speakers. The Bottleneck Blues Bar features a distinctive environment that sets the stage for the live sounds of superb blues, jazz, pop and country musicians, to create a soulful entertainment retreat. Similar to an early 1900s street market, the 450-seat Landmark Buffet offers a variety of food stations for guests, which are designed to reflect the ethnic themes of the food that is served. Redefining the American café/diner with an atmosphere that is reflective of the Art Deco modernist movement, the Falcon Diner embodies the spirit of the typical downtown eatery and offers Ameristar guests a casual setting for 24-hour dining. Counter and table seating are available at Pearl's Oyster Bar, an eclectic southern-style restaurant, which has the appearance of a shanty accented by a rusted, corrugated roof. This casual gathering place sits on a fenced-in, open-air patio overlooking the grand walkway with its magnificent domed skylight.

After walking through the Streetscape, guests can enter the casino. Inside, the stained glass lighting, metal railings, trusses and Corinthian columns evoke a sophisticated, yet comfortable gaming atmosphere. Ameristar Casino St. Charles is the first property in Missouri to install "coinless gaming" making it the most technologically advanced gaming facility in the state. Guests can select from 3,300 slot and video poker machines, 95 table games and a dedicated poker room, or escape to the more upscale relaxation of the high-limit lounge with its private bar.
