St. Louis Arc 15th Annual Golf Tournament St. Louis Arc held their Fifteenth Annual Golf Tournament in the Scottish Tradition at The Country Club of St. Albans on Monday, May 23, 2005. At noon, a bagpiper serenaded golfers before the traditional shotgun start. The day's events includes: 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch, auction, awards ceremony, cocktails and buffet. And the highlight of the tournament: all participants were eligible in a drawing for a golf tour for two to Scotland. Chairmen for the event were: Irl Engelhardt, Peabody Energy; Jim Havel, Ernst & Young; Richard Jensen, The PrivateBank; Ron Kruszewski, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company; and Michael Neidorff, Centene Corporation The entry fee was $500.00 per golfer, with all funds raised going to St. Louis Arc. The St. Louis Arc provides multiple services to more than 3,000 individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in the St. Louis Metro-Area. We strive to be an innovative force of positive change in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Our Mission is to provide the highest quality services to help individuals with developmental disabilities and their families achieve their goals. The St. Louis Arc is the recipient of a three year accreditation (November 2001 to November 2004) from The Council on Quality and Leadership in Supports for People with Disabilities! In 2003, Childgarden Child Development Center, a St. Louis Arc and Easter Seals partnership, was honored as one of ten national merit finalists for the Mutual of America Community Partnership Award. The award recognizes leaders in the public, private and social sectors who have formed partnerships for the greater good of their communities. Winner of the 1999 Award of Excellence from The Council On Quality and Leadership in Supports for People with Disabilities.
