This 18-hole picturesque golf course was built on the site of the 1904 Worlds Fair. The current clubhouse was the fair's train station. Many other historic buildings reside on the golf course property. The course sits in the middle of historic Eisenhower Park and on the weekends golfers can anticipate seeing 10,000 people jogging, roller blading, picnicking or strolling the parkway enjoying the view. During the winter when the course becomes a blanket of snow, the # 4 fairway becomes the most popular toboggan run in St. Louis. In previous years during construction projects, amunitions from a WW I practice range were found under the fairways. A master plan for redesigning and modernizing the course is currently underway.
